BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, an audacious mix of historical fact and fiction, redefines America's controversial seventh president -- the man who invented the Democratic Party, drove the Indians west, and ultimately doubled the size of our nation -- with a raucous blend of outrageous comedy, anarchic theatricality and an infectious emo rock score. The world premiere of BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON was presented by Center Theatre Group and The Public Theater in association with Les Freres Corbusier at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Los Angeles, CA in January, 2008. It ran at Broadway's Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre from September 20, 2010 - January 02, 2011.
