Michel Legrand showed up at my door on the day after Valentine's Day, February 15th, 2005 and stayed for a week in NYC. We hadn't seen each other since the Tony Awards the year before where AMOUR was celebrated with many nominations. I had since been on Broadway in Dracula and it had just closed.
